Eye4Eyewear was born out of a mentality for always putting our customers first. We developed a site and community that would allow us to keep prices low and quality high. By sourcing our frames from all over the world we are able to provide leading styles, colors, and fashion, at a fraction of the cost, up to 85% off traditional retail! We employ licensed opticians to manufacture the glasses, ensuring accuracy and quality. Unlike many other online companies, all of our glasses are proudly manufactured here in the United States, at our headquarters in Ohio.
We are now celebrating 2 years in business with a loyal and growing Eye4Eyewear family behind us.
In 2014 we started to look for a way to give back, to thank our community and those who have supported us. That is when we started the Eye4Eyewear Foundation, our nonprofit charity initiative. Then we looked for a way to bring our customers into the effort, too. We created Buy-a-Pair Give-a-Pair, in which one pair of glasses is donated for every pair purchased.

How long have you been in business?
We launched our initial website in 2012. After listening to our customers suggestions, we relaunched in 2015 with a much more user friendly shopping experience, and one-page checkout.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide quality prescription glasses at a very affordable price. Eyeglasses had become so expensive that people were only able to buy one pair every few years. With Eye4Eyewear's quality and pricing, our customers enjoy being able to expand their eyewear wardrobe. They have the ability to buy multiple frames in different colors and styles. You own different shoes and shirts for various occasions, why not different eyeglasses?
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We have a great team here at Eye4Eyewear. First and foremost, we have decades of optical experience between our opticians. Quality and safety is our number one rule. Each pair is hand checked by two opticians before they are sent out to the customer. We also have a design and style background; making sure we are able to bring you quality fashionable eyewear. To round out the team, we have marketing and customer service backgrounds. We want to make sure your time at Eye4Eyewear is memorable and fun. Most of all, we want to make sure you are able to engage and trust us. Buying prescription glasses online is new; we do our best to make sure you are comfortable at every step.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The quality for the price is unmatched. Even better, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This means if you get your glasses and don't like them for any reason you can return them. "Love em', or Return em'" with free shipping both ways.
We also promote charity through our Buy-a-Pair Give-a-Pair initiative. For each pair purchased online, we donate a pair of glasses to low income schools. Kids that struggle to see in class are more likely to be disruptive, fall behind, and get poor grades. By ensuring that kids can see, we ensure that they have the best opportunity to succeed in school. We are very proud of the students and communities we have been able to help.
Lastly, but something we take very seriously, our customer service. Our customer service is always there to answer questions or make recommendations. Everyone that answers our phones works in the US at our headquarters. We don't believe in long wait times and hard to understand receptionists; that's not customer service!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are solely online. We are always making improvements to our site. We enjoy hearing suggestions from our customers and adapting to what they want to see and how they want to engage with our eyeglasses. Buying eyeglasses online is a new experience. We have made it our primary goal to ensure comfort and ease while shopping with us.

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal.
Which areas do you service?
We service all of USA, as well as Canada. We offer free shipping domestically. Also, if your need your glasses faster, we offer expedited shipping. We ship all glasses within 24hrs of purchase, and most glasses ordered before 12:00 EST are shipped same day. We offer next day shipping anywhere in the US. This is a great service if you are on vacation and your glasses break.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We have a true team mentality here at Eye4Eyewear. We often do whole company luncheons and team building projects. The team mentality has been a hallmark of Hugh McManus' management. Hugh McManus is the Operations Manager and heads Eye4Eyewear. He oversees all aspects of the Eye4Eyewear. We are thrilled to have him, and his vision as the leader of our team.
What are your hours of operation?
Our website is open 24/7. Our main office and customer service center is open 9-5 Monday through Friday.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"Shopping on your site was easy, I loved my glasses, and I referred you to my friends and family." This compliment really hit our three goals all in one sentence. First and foremost our site was easy and efficient to use. Customer experience always starts with your interaction with the product and service in the store. Secondly, once you find the prescription glasses you like, will you like them when you receive them? We only supply top quality frames and do our best to accurately describe and display the eyeglasses on our site. Lastly, if everything is perfect, would you be willing to recommend us? Word of mouth is the most trusting and important form of marketing. We don't want to buy a favorable opinion, but we will do our best to earn it.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6). This quote has always been important to the Eye4Eyewear team. Our work with low income schools and donating glasses is rooted in this principle. We are not able to fix all of the evil and misjustice in the world. Our background and passion is eyeglasses/vision. We hope that if we are able to make sure children can see in the classroom they are more likely to participate and stay engaged. We at Eye4Eyewear aim to make sure that vision is never the limiting factor in a student's education.
